Blog Entry: Wyoming County Boy Shot While Hunting By:   YNN Staff   A 16-year-old Wyoming County boy was shot while hunting with friends.   The Wyoming County Sheriff's office tells YNN the boy was hunting coyotes with two friends Friday on Perry Road in Sheldon. The teenager was in a tree when he was hit in his side from about five to 10 feet away. A friend's rifle accidentally discharged. The boy was taken by Mercy Flight helicopter to Erie County Medical Center for emergency surgery. Sheriff’s deputies are not releasing names at this time. State DEC officers took over the investigation and we're told charges are possible. My questions to this are where were the parnet or legal graudain?Why wasn't muzzle awareness be effected.
