Hey guys just thought I would share this picture. We caught this good 250lb boar hog in Georgia on the Ocmulgee River. On the left side his teeth measured 2 3/4" and on the right side 3". This hunt will actually be airing on Direct TV channel 608 in about 2 weeks on the Rusty Faulk Outdoor Show and Southern Woods & Water TV. He was caught alive by us three girls and our dogs and boy did he give us a run for our money! But we sure did have a good time with him.

That is some big tusks. Has one of them ever ripped one of your dogs open and you sew him up in the woods?

Well accidents happen and yes we have had a few of them. I don't think any dog hunter can say that they have never had a dog wounded when dealing with these hogs. I am acting veterinarian in our outfit and I also seem to stay on call for all the surrounding hog hunters as well. I have been woke up many times in the wee hours of the morning to work on a dog and have had to break out the "vet box" in the woods for my own dogs many times as well. This sounds terrible (& I wouldn't wish injury on anyones dog) but, I look forward to the practice I get because I am also a pre-vet student so everything that I encounter prepares me even further for my schooling! One thing I know is, you never stop learning in this business!

I sure will try to let everyone know when we are going to air on TV as soon as I know. At this point all I know is that we should be only about 2 weeks away from show time and that it will be on Direct TV channel 608. Which brings me to another problem, I have Dish TV so I am gonna have to get on this board and see if someone will let me come watch my show at their house! LOL!

Well as we were leaving Georgia 2 weeks ago ya'll were getting some heavy rains. Did it push the river back out of the banks again? I know when we got there to hunt, the river was back down but there was alot of water still standing here and there and it was muddy as all get out. It was a little tough to walk in. So tell me, do you see alot of bears in your area or are they pretty scattered out? We saw one set of tracks on our trip and I was kinda bumed out about it. I was hoping to be able to let some of our young dogs bay a bear up!

HaHa, you made me have to go check here bio and make sure she didn't write sweaty cowgirls were her turn on. If you only knew her sense of humor you would know why that is not that far fetched for her. She is so crazy! So now that I cleared that up, I guess now I know what to put on your bio!

The bears are down here but they are scattered. Alot of them stay around river bottoms in south GA. The rain did get the river up and pushed the hogs up and went back down and then back up haha. Its down now and the hogs are back in the bottoms. If you guys ever want to come back holla at me and we can hunt my place. GA just come on over and shoot some, sit in that deer stand where we filmed last season.
