DISCOUNTED HUNT, TAKE MULTIPLE COWS FOR MEAT. SEPTEMBER OCTOBER WEATHER SHOOTING FROM TOP OF THE BALES OF HAY AT ELK ENTERING THE HAY FIELD, THIS IS A GREAT LOW COST FATHER SON HUNT.
In 2010 this outfitter ran an unbelievable hunter success rate for the harvest of bulls and cows together 97%. He and his guides put their hunter on elk and they took over 114 elk. That is a lot of ivory! (Cows have ivory also, not just bulls.)
Keep in mind buck or bull fever hits everyone and the easy shot at an elk is missed. In most cases they put their hunters on a second or 3rd elk to get the job done. In 15 years I have never see such a success rate that is why this hunt books up so quickly. Early booking is the only way to assure that you have a spot for this fall, spaces are quickly filling up at this time many from hunters that left a deposit for 2011 when the went home with their 2010 elk. Others told their friend about the hunt and they quickly booked 2011 together so they could hunt together on the once in a life time hunt. This is the hunt that if you look back in years to come and say, “ I should have gone with Brian while I could have†Don’t miss out, the hunt is a low impact hunt so it is a good time to bring that youth or the elderly father that you hunted will all your life and would like to do one more successful hunt with for memories.
A limited number of cow tags are available this is to hunt beginning august 15th until December 31 on a voucher system. These hunts are 5 days with lodging and meals in town about 15 miles away. This will be "low impact hunting with 100% success at this time for this year and last from hay stacks or spot and stalk. The outfitter leases around 100,000 acres and is near one of the large elk preserves.

COLORADO PRIVATE LAND SEASON BULL ELK HUNTS $4500 DISCOUNTED DOWN TO ONLY $2995 OR FOR MOUNTAIN HUNT $3495 .
This is a private land Elk hunt, this is any of the seasons depending on availability of space and lisencses until sold out. This morning the outfitter reported that there were 150 head of elk on the ranch, of which 30 were branch antlered BULLS! As hunting pressure increases in the surrounding national forest even more elk will be pushed down into this ranch. You can reasonably expect 100% shooting opportunity on bulls. This will NOT be the standard grueling elk hunt on horseback.! Much of this hunt will be done via 4x4 and then your final stalk will be on foot. There are SIX OPENINGS ONLY, for this hunt!

You will hunt approximately 100,000 acres of farm valley at about 8,000 feet in elevation. The valley consists of plains, small rolling hills, alfalfa, hay fields, and other brush. Hunts are guided with up to 2 hunters per guide, Lodging and Meals included.

This is a new opportunity for a very unique type of elk hunt. Right now, in the fields and alfalfa, are herds of bulls and cows, placidly munching a fortune in hay and crops, while providing the chance of a lifetime to fill elk tags that has never been seen in the past. This outfitter will take you onto these private ranches. You can reasonably expect 100% shooting opportunity on cows and opportunity was 100% last year and so far this year.
Also the cow tags do not count toward your two elk per year in Colorado maximum.
This will be a physically easy hunt, suitable for anyone, of any age, and in almost any physical condition from great to poor. From kids to seniors, come shoot your elk! You will see a lot of game and it will be largely undisturbed. Outfitter will guide you and retrieve your game.
This is a chance of a lifetime to hunt EASY TO FIND alfalfa fed elk! Most of the elk will be highly visible and you will stalk them for your shots. We suspect shots will have a chance of being fairly long, so bring a bipod or shooting sticks, and be prepared to shoot to 300 yards or a bit more accurately!

This 100,000 acres is at about 8,000 feet in elevation and consists of plains, small rolling hills, alfalfa, hay fields, willow trees, tall swale grass, and Chico brush that provides shelter. The landowner voucher is included in the hunt price. You will just need to purchase a Colorado bull elk license @ $544 for a non-resident (Only $49 for a resident) and a $10 habitat stamp.

DIY SELF GUIDED CABIN HUNTS ON PRIVATE AND PUBLIC LAND with the outfitter providing a map of the area and where he has killed elk in the past.
$1500 PER PERSON WITH A MAXIMUM REDUCED TO ONLY $995 PER PERSON for the cabin or tent camp, available depending on the area you want to hunt in prime elk territory.
The archery season price is even lower from $995 to only $ 750 for 7 days. Muzzleloaders could fall into that category also.
Elk tags are available over the counter on the 2011 season during Archery, the 2nd season or the 3rd rifle elk season..
This is a cabin in prime elk country. The private land is nestled in the middle of huge area of public land which give you unlimited hunting. Occasionally someone will get back in as far as you are but most of the time the only hunters you will see is your group. The outfitter used the cabin as his outfitting cabin and hunting area since 2000 with great success. This year he has to many properties for the number of guides and clients so he is releasing this to a responsible hunting group for only $995 each and a $1000 security/damage deposit. The pictures are some of the many elk he has taken on the property.
Deposit is $500 for the Security/Damage deposit and $500 from each hunter.
The outfitter will provide you with a Topo map of the cabin location and mark the most successful areas to find elk honey holes for walkers and setters. This is the price opportunity of a life time to have a guided hunts facility, and his 10 years of hard earned successful note to hunt with your buddies.
The cabin has two bedrooms, one with four bunk beds and the other with a single full sized bed. The cabin is solar generated so we have electricity for lights, a TV and a refrigerator. It is heated with a wood burning stove, and we use propane for cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. The cabin has a bathroom with a flush toilet and plenty of hot water for showers! It is comfortable accommodations for up to six people. It is comfortable enough it could be lived in year around.
Hunters will really enjoy our modern and beautiful four room log cabin. The cabin was built in 2000 has two bedrooms, one with 4 bunk beds and one with a single bed. It is located on my 80 acre property at the base of the Sangre de Christo Mountains. Nestled in the quaking aspens, where the deer and the elk are behind you in the wooded mountains and local as well as migrating elk herds in the area around the cabin and always passing through. The area does have deer but it is such prime elk country that they are few and the elk have taken over the area. In the morning I would take clients on a short walk uphill, to work our way back down through the day as you search for elk in the dark timber above the camp, or to watch elk in the meadows and parks that they frequent. This was very successful for me as my guiding from this cabin was always very successful. The outfitter will give you a topographical map of the area and note elk honey holes and where the elk feed, bed and travel choke points to set up for a elk ambush. This area accommodates walkers and non-walkers as it has good sitting and watching as elk migrate plus feed and bed.
