SUBJECT: Guided hunt on 1800 Acres DEER
LOCATION: MCCook, Nebraska United States
Guided hunt on 1800 Acres for 6 hunters in Prime Deer Country in SW Nebraska

ID Number: NE-Deer-Any-FrontierCo,-1800-acres-Guided
Cost of the Hunt: $2000 per hunter discounted down to only $1,600 per hunter for 6 hunters. Exclusive hunting acreage for no more than 6 hunters, you will be the only one, no interference from other hunters.

This is almost 3, 1 mile squares to hunt, with corn, wheat, pasture, streams, wind mills, steep draws. The guide will have a Kawasaki Mule, which he uses to take you to and pick you up at the locations with the most deer movement. The southern edge of the property is a state wildlife are and a 1,200 acre lake. Water is a great commodity for deer so this area has a high population. The State of Nebraska has planted habitat producing trees and cover for the wildlife and the deer move in and out of it during the summer.
At first shot opening morning deer naturally move up hill and in some cases because of the lake, which is the only direction that they can move. The ranch is all of that uphill property. There is a county road that splits the property in half for easy access.

In addition it contains high weeds, brush, along with the corn and wheat that the deer naturally are attracted to for feed. With the pressure below they will stay on the ranch allowing good shooting and a good deer population.

You will carry a map and an access pass with you while you are hunting. There are only 6 hunters allowed on the property per year, so if you are contacted please present your pass, with your name on it. This land is all private and only 6 hunters will be on it all season.

Nebraska’s rifle season is right during the rut, so it can’t get any better than that. Temperatures can be cold, and even snowy, but most of the time it is dry with night times lows about 25 and daytime highs in the 60’s, with a breeze. The terrain is relatively flat in the farming areas with the pasture areas a little more rugged. Best rifles to use are a 25 to 30 caliber using a 140 to 180 grain flat shooting bullet. For example a 270 to a 300 win magnum, all sighted into hit dead on at 200 yards.

Licenses can be purchased on the internet beginning July 7th for “The Frenchman Unit.”
The guide will clean and transport your deer to the ranch barn to hang. Lodging is in the town of McCook with 30-50 motels and hotels available, along with all types of restaurants, along with B&B’s. Sporting goods stores, hardware stores along with Walmart is also located in McCook.

Flight can land in Denver Colorado or Lincoln Nebraska, then in a commuter plane land in McCook, or North Platte about a 1 hour drive from McCook.
