Went turkey hunting with my buddy this weekend. We got tired of chasing hen'ed up birds and decided to catch a few bass before lunch. I caught 6 over 4 pounds in about 45 minutes. My buddy caught a couple smaller ones.



After lunch and a little smack talking, my buddy was biteing at the bit to get some revenge on me. So we head back to the pond. I get out the truck and on the first cast land a 9 pound 4 ounce fish. My buddy was crying at this point. We stayed for about a hour and I caught about ten between 2 pounds to 6 pounds. My buddy caught 6 between 2 to 4 pounds.


I love fishing in the farm ponds!!! They are bedding right now and they are fat! Pitched a few culprit 7 1/2" worms in the beds and they couldn't stand it. I also caught a war mouth on plastic worm. I will be headed back next week for some fishing and turkey hunting. I will post some pics again if I have the same luck HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!
